This code will be set when the VFD detects lower than expected voltage on the fan motor communication wires. This can be caused by a short in the fan motor harness, a damaged motor, or a damaged VFD.
To verify the source of the malfunction, disconnect OD fan motor from the VFD and verify the resistance between the pins on the harness. The expected resistance values can be found on Table 5 for each motor. If the resistances don’t match the table and the harness looks intact, replace the fan motor. If the resistances indicate the motor is good, replace the VFD.
