On 26VNA\/27VNA models a PEV is included to ensure compressor will never start against a high pressure differential. 27VPA products are designed with longer cycle off-times to reduce the pressure differential to an acceptable level without the use of a PEV. This fault will become active if a demand exists and the pressure differential is not below 100 psi. The fault will clear and unit will start normally once pressure differential is below 100 psi and demand is still present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 26VNA\/27VNA models the most likely cause of this fault is a non-functioning PEV. Possibly the PEV suffered a mechanical failure, or the coil is not mounted to PEV. Verify PEV coil is attached to PEV valve body. If coil is attached, replace PEV harness and coil first, and PEV body if problem is not fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 27VPA models the system will startup regardless of pressure differential if it&#8217;s been 20 minutes and there&#8217;s a call from the thermostat.
