When code 82-17 is occurs the system will remain operating as it is likely caused by a momentary voltage spike that will not damage the VFD. If a long term unsafe high voltage event occurs, the PCM will generate a 15-94 and shut down equipment. 10 events of code 82-17 in a 1 hour period will result in code 82-57 and will shut down equipment for a 2 hour lockout.
