This fault is set when required USB files or directories cannot be accessed or validated. This includes failure to open or navigate the manifest or updates directories, inability to read manifest contents, invalid CRC values, missing required XML tags, unsupported or malformed manifest files, missing OTA file name tags, or read errors when accessing update files (.bex or .dat).
The most likely cause is an incorrect USB directory structure, corrupted or unsupported manifest file, missing update files, or incomplete software package copied to the USB drive.
Verify the USB directory structure matches required specifications. Reload the correct software package to the USB drive using an approved source. Replace the USB drive if corruption persists.
NOTE: Best results will be obtained by using a USB memory device that is between 4GB and 32GB in size and formatted as a FAT32 device. Any other formatting (NTFS, exFAT, etc.) may result in an error.
