30-Day Residential DOA Program – NEW

The 30-Day DOA Program is a factory-sponsored program intended to provide support when an original component on qualifying Carrier/Bryant residential equipment fails within 30 days of initial start-up or installation due to a manufacturing defect.

This program is not intended to cover poor installation, misapplication, incorrect setup, missing required accessories, or service-related causes.

Important: Program eligibility and approvals are subject to current Carrier/Bryant policy review. Submitting a form does not guarantee approval. The information provided helps Carrier Enterprise Technical Service & Support route, review, and respond to the request.

Who may qualify?

  • Carrier/Bryant residential product.
  • Original component failure within 30 days of initial start-up or installation.
  • Properly sized and properly applied system.
  • Proper installation and start-up procedures followed.
  • Required accessories installed where applicable.
  • Approved system match where applicable.
  • Adequate wiring and electrical supply.

What does not qualify?

  • Non-Carrier/Bryant equipment.
  • Residential equipment used in a commercial application.
  • Service compressors covered under service parts warranty.
  • Serialized accessories changed out within the first 30 days.
  • Failures caused by poor installation, improper application, incorrect setup, or missing accessories.
  • Loose wires, thermostat issues, transformers, or similar field/service issues unless otherwise approved through the proper review process.
