Program purpose
This program path is for review of suspected condenser coil leaks. The submitted evidence must clearly identify the actual leak location.
Important eligibility notes
- The equipment must be Carrier/Bryant residential product.
- Residential equipment used in a commercial application does not qualify.
- The leak must be positively identified.
- Repairable leaks should be handled according to the proper repair/review process.
- Program review is based on the information and evidence submitted.
Evidence requirements
Acceptable evidence must show the actual leak location using bubbles or liquid leak detector.
Not acceptable by itself
- Electronic leak detector only.
- Oil stain only.
- Photo of a leak detector display only.
- Video that does not show the sensor tip or bubbles at the actual leak location.
Required media
- A wide view showing where the leak is located on the unit or coil.
- A close-up showing bubbles/liquid leak detector at the actual leak point.
- Model/serial photo if requested.
- Any additional job site context requested by the Technical Service & Support team.
