Program purpose

This program path is for review of suspected condenser coil leaks. The submitted evidence must clearly identify the actual leak location.

Important eligibility notes

  • The equipment must be Carrier/Bryant residential product.
  • Residential equipment used in a commercial application does not qualify.
  • The leak must be positively identified.
  • Repairable leaks should be handled according to the proper repair/review process.
  • Program review is based on the information and evidence submitted.

Evidence requirements

Acceptable evidence must show the actual leak location using bubbles or liquid leak detector.

Not acceptable by itself

  • Electronic leak detector only.
  • Oil stain only.
  • Photo of a leak detector display only.
  • Video that does not show the sensor tip or bubbles at the actual leak location.

Required media

  • A wide view showing where the leak is located on the unit or coil.
  • A close-up showing bubbles/liquid leak detector at the actual leak point.
  • Model/serial photo if requested.
  • Any additional job site context requested by the Technical Service & Support team.
